The Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a religious education program for students who attend either a public school or a homeschool program. Two different PSR sessions are offered for students in grades 1-8: Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:15am and Monday evenings from 7-8pm. Classes are held in the school building. PSR classes are possible because of the large volunteer staff of teachers, classroom aides, substitute teachers, and hallway volunteers (all adults working with children comply with the diocesan guidelines for child safety [VIRTUS]). More volunteers are always needed and are always welcome!
PSR registration begins each spring and continues throughout the start of the school year. The PSR fee for the 2020-2021 academic year is $80 per child/$240 maximum per family; a payment plan is available and offered to all families. Scholarships are also available.
Homeschool PSR is another option available for St. Brendan parishioners. Contact the Religious Education Office for more information.
The Religious Education Office staff is making appropriate plans and arrangements for physical distancing and safety for all throughout the worldwide pandemic. Kindly submit completed registration forms by August 1, 2020.
The 2020-2021 PSR Class Schedule will be available in August 2020.
