Sponsors Needed – Support the St. Brendan School Walk-a-thon
St. Brendan’s 7th annual walk-a-thon – Navigators on the Move for Education – is scheduled for September 14th. Corporate sponsors are needed to help make this event a success. Sponsoring businesses or individuals will be listed on the official walk-a-thon t-shirt and other promotional materials, and publicized in the News from the Pews, online, and in our school. Donations are tax deductible. Please print out a sponsorship form and return it to the parish or school office by September 3, 2019.
Navigators on the Move for Education Walk-a-thonPlan to join us on Saturday, September 14th at 10 am for the 7th annual St. Brendan Walk-a-thon for Education. All are invited to walk the parish grounds for an hour and raise money for technology in our school. This year’s Walk will help fund new, updated iPads for our 3rd and 4th grade students, and new technology for our Maker Space and Science Lab. Music, games, raffles, refreshments and fellowship will enliven our walk together! You can participate by either collecting donations or simply paying a flat registration fee. Print out a flyer or pick up a Walk-a-thon registration packet from the school office or the the table in the gathering area of the Church. Anyone who raises or donates at least $30 by September 6th will receive the official 2019 St. Brendan Walk-a-thon t-shirt.

Online Donations to the Walk-a-thon! You can still collect cash or checks from family and friends and turn them into the school or parish office, but if you want to easily reach out-of-town relatives or it’s just easier to pay by credit card or PayPal, we have that option. Simply click here and fill out your information. Just remember to enter the name of the child, family or yourself, who you are supporting in the Walk, on the second page in the field labeled “On Behalf of Student Name or Family,” so your donation is credited appropriately. If you wish to support multiple children with a single donation, just enter the names and we will divide it evenly. All online donations count toward the t-shirt and other incentives, and class, family and individual prizes!
