CYO Tennis returns! Parents can join us for our spring season at Avon Oaks Tennis Club, Center Court Tennis Club, Chagrin Valley Athletic Club, and Towpath Tennis Club. Please note Avon Oaks dates Feb. 24, March 2, 9, 16, and 23. Center Court and Chagrin Valley dates March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Towpath dates Feb. 24, March 9, 16, 23, and April 6.
Children in CYO Tennis will develop fundamentals, play with friends, and enjoy a game that they can play their entire lives. Our CYO tennis program brings our mission to life: CYO inspires young people to know God, to love God, and to serve God through athletics.
CYO Tennis for children in Grades 1 - 2. The time frame is shorter (1 hour) and the expense is less. The goal is to have fun and get used to hitting balls and safely running around on a tennis court. Tennis for your 1st or 2nd grader includes 5 sixty minute sessions for a total of $100. Djokovic began playing at age 4.
The Pope Francis instructional program is for children grades 3 – 8. Half of the time we work on fundamentals while the other half is reinforcing fundamental skills in competitive drills and activities. Please register more competitive and skilled children in grades 6 – 8 in CYO Junior Team Tennis.
The CYO Junior Team Tennis program is for children in Grades 6 – 8 to learn how to compete and play matches. Players will learn how to prepare for matches, keep score, court positioning, and match strategy. All CYO Junior Team Tennis matches will take place at the club where your child is registered.
CYO Tennis for grades 3 – 8 and Junior Team Tennis includes 5 ninety minute sessions for total cost of $150. The fees cover expenses for court time and trained USTA instructors.
Parents can register at the club link below for each club or on our CYO website Tennis page by Feb. 23 for Avon Oaks and Towpath Clubs and by March 1 for Center Court and Chagrin Valley clubs.
CYO partners with each Tennis Club to secure court time and trained United States Tennis Association instructors. Review dates and times below and sign up quickly due to limited space.
