Each year at St. Brendan Parish, youth of the parish who are in high school (grades 9-12) prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The Confirmation Preparation Program at St. Brendan and St. Richard Parishes includes:
Meetings for all Confirmation Candidates and their parents with the parish staff which take place during the summer months.
Preparation Sessions for the Candidates which take place from September through January.
A day-long Confirmation retreat for the Candidates is held at the parish in January.
Confirmation practice (for all Candidates, parents, and sponsors) and the Confirmation Liturgy take place in late January to early March.
For the 2023-2024 academic year, the preparation sessions take place on Sundays from 10:15-11:15am. These sessions include prayer, reflection, catechesis, and discussions led by the adult Confirmation Team and Peer Mentors.
The 2023-2024 Confirmation Liturgy at St. Brendan Parish takes place on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 11:30am.
