~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
St. Brendan students concluded their first National History Day in school competition. All of the 7th and 8th graders, along with three 6th graders, presented their history projects, in the form of exhibits, documentaries or performances, to a group of experienced history day judges. All of the student participants had impressive displays and demonstrated knowledge and passion for their topics. It was truly an impressive sight that was made possible by the hard work and guidance of junior high History teacher Mr. Frank O’Grady. The day served as a preparation for the regional competition on March 2nd at the Cleveland History Center. Congratulations to all for their efforts, with a special shout out to the winning projects.
